Sad Sad Sad Addictions

  • May. 8th, 2007 at 3:37 PM

Okay, it has been a day, and I am breaking down on canceling facebook...who knows I may reactivate my account.  Random thoughts like "Well it was myspace that was the most trouble"..keep running through my head.
Anyways enough about those websites.  I have been an uber nerd lately and gone onto okcupid to talk to peoples...though I really shouldn't go on there late at night anymore. It is when the creeepy guys come out.  I got asked if I was dominant in bed, and from another person if I wanted to come over.  Those guys were like twice my age! GROSS!!!  I told them they were too old for me..LoL.  But I did talk to a couple people that seemed really nice, so that was fun.  I doubt that I will ever actually meet them, unless they really impress me.  But it is fun just to talk to random people, :-D.  So anyways, I am going to get on with my day! Sooo...

I canceled both my myspace and my facebook earlier today.  Nothing good comes out of either of them, andI wind up getting upset about things on there.  So goodbye and farewell to them both.  I am sick of people being asses anyway.  It seems that websites like those are an open invitation.  *sigh*

Ouch!!!

Ouch, I just got a random message on myspace.com telling me that I was basically a horrible person.  Why would someone look on something like "theexbook.com"  and hunt people down.  I do not get it.  It is mean, and it is hurtful.  And honestly what kind of person does that?!

Okay on further investigation, it is a scam to get people to sign up for their moronic site.  What the fuck?? It is horrid that they prey on emotions like that!  Seriously!

Pathfinder

  • Apr. 30th, 2007 at 12:01 AM

Learned a valuable lesson today...NEVER go see a movie that you haven't heard of with a friend.  Heather told me that Pathfinder was a "cross between LOTR and Legend stuff".  It so was not.  It was a bloody bloody bloody blood bath.  I alternated between covering my eyes, and my ears for the 1/2 an hour that I was able to stomach it.  When the started sewing up some guy's eye, I was done. I would have been perfectly happy never seeing that scene in my life.  Oh well.
The thing that really amazed me though was Heather.  She just sat back and enjoyed the show, making a comment on the historical accuracy.   Blood was spouting out of headless bodies, whole communities were slaughtered.  I just couldn't believe that she was left completely unmoved by that.  I guess different strokes for different folks.

Laundry Funness

  • Apr. 29th, 2007 at 2:43 AM

Okay, starting my laundry at 2 am was not the brightest thing I have ever done.  However sharing music for Aerika for two hours was really cool.  I guess it all balances out.  (Though I suppose I have to say nice things about Aerika...cause she is the only one I know of who reads this!!!  not that it is hard or anything <3 you) LoL.
As I sit in my apartment, impatiently waiting to go back down, I decided to update this.  It is nothing short of a miracle that this is happening.  A few years ago my friend Catherine got me to try Xanga...well more like forced but we won't go there... and I update it about once a year.  So two updates in one night? Amazing or I just have nothing better to do at 10 til 3 in the morning waiting for laundry.  *Sigh*
You know, why do they only have like 8 washers, and 8 dryers for the hundreds of people who live here (or is it 10 machines?) ?  It makes no sense.  Better than the dorms, where they only had  6 however.  That isnt even one washer/dryer to every 30 people...which is why I am doing it so late.  I hate waiting for laundry machines to open up.  Or the chaos that happens down there.  There should be a posted set of courtesy rules.  "Please come and get your laundry on time...if you fail to meet this and someone is waiting for the blasted machine, you have a 5 minute courtesy wait before your clothes are set on the counter" Not on the machine...it is amazing how much spills on those things.  My stuff got dumped on them once freshman year and I had all these bleach spots on my shirts..and I don't own any bleach.
I suppose that is enough of a rant about laundry, incoherent as it may be...just take into account the time people!! ;)  Well I will update when I update! ~Anna

Hello

  • Apr. 29th, 2007 at 12:05 AM

So, you have stumbled across my journal page.  Welcome!  I honestly don't know who really wants to read about a friend's life on a screen rather than face to face or something, oh well.  I guess I don't have to get it.
I am horrible at writing these things, so keep that in mind as you read about my life.  Let's see, today is Saturday.  Always a good day.  I went to the gym, and went swimming...actually there was a really nice guy at the pool who was helping me learn to swim better. I fully admit that I cannot swim well, but it is fun!  I think this poor man was getting frustrated at the end though, there are so many things to remember, and there was a bit of communication problems.  He didn't speak english quite fluently.  But he did a good job.  Anyway that was a fun experience...and hey I love going there, I mean all the eye candy you can want..:-P  It is also fun to watch what people wear.  Seriously, why would a 200-pound girl stick herself in a bikini? NO ONE really wants to see that...and all the girls who show off their little beer bellies is funny too.  (I wear a one piece so I can laugh).  Anyways should get to laundry...I will update when I update.  Toodles.
